While I normally prefer warmer weather, I do not like mosquitoes. They really like to drain humans of blood during these warm months.
Actually, if you had 1,200,000 mosquito bites, they could literally drain you of your blood (based off of the average amount of blood in a human body).
What would happen if Pinocchio said, "my nose will grow"?
If he says it, and his nose grows, he would NOT have been lying.
BUT
If he says it, and his nose does NOT grow, he would be lying, and therefore his nose should be growing.
BUT
If it does grow, then he would not have been lying and therefore his nose SHOULD grow.
In America, we all know that you dial 911 in case of an emergency. What do you do in other countries? Many times if you dial 911 you'll probably be fine and you'll be rerouted to the local emergency system. (Sometimes you are not so you should probably check online before you visit a foreign country).
But what about Antarctica?
Your 911 call only calls the nearest island/country that has a police and emergency system. In case of no response, try all emergency numbers that exist such as 112 and 999 until someone answers. There is no dispatch center in Antarctica.
Today you learned. Do not have an emergency in Antarctica.
